Ledger® Live is a secure companion app for Ledger hardware wallets. The device holds your private keys offline; Ledger® Live provides a safe interface for viewing balances, sending/receiving funds, and managing firmware and apps.
Step-by-step setup
- Unbox & verify: Confirm packaging integrity and use official downloads only.
- Install Ledger® Live: Download from the official page above, run installer and open the app.
- Initialize device: Create a new wallet or restore using your 24-word seed. Write the seed on paper and store safely.
- Add accounts: Use “Add account” for Bitcoin, Ethereum and other supported coins.
- Receive & confirm: Click Receive, confirm address on device screen before sharing it.
- Send & sign: Enter transaction in Ledger® Live, then confirm and sign on the device.

- Never disclose your 24-word recovery phrase.
